Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Timetelle (“we,” “us”). They cover your use of timetelle.com and everything on it: the dashboard, booking pages, invoices and emails (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, booking an appointment or paying an invoice, you agree to them.
1. Who these terms apply to
- Businesses: people and companies who sign up to take bookings and payments, and anyone they add to their team.
- Clients: people who book an appointment or pay an invoice through a business's Timetelle page. Section 9 is written especially for you.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to create a business account.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account and your team's accounts.
- Tell us right away at support@appointelle.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
- The person who creates a business is its owner and controls its team, billing and data.
3. Free trial, plans and billing
- New businesses get a 5-day free trial. No card is needed to start. When the trial ends, online booking pauses until you choose a paid plan.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment processor Stripe. Yearly plans are discounted 20% compared with paying monthly. Current prices are on our pricing page.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can change plans at any time. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated by Stripe, which means you're charged or credited for the difference.
- You can cancel any time from Plan & billing in your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, we may pause online booking for your business until it's fixed.
- We may change prices. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and it applies from your next renewal.
- Prices don't include taxes. You're responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
4. Taking payments from your clients
Businesses can take deposits, full payments, tips and invoice payments from clients. These payments are handled by Stripe and go straight to your business's own Stripe account. By turning on payments, you agree to Stripe's terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and the Stripe Services Agreement.
- Timetelle doesn't add its own fee to your client payments. Stripe charges its standard processing fees.
- The sale is between you and your client. You're responsible for your services, prices, deposit and refund policies, taxes, receipts you're required to give, refunds, and disputes or chargebacks.
- Timetelle refunds deposits automatically only as your refund settings say (for example, when a client cancels in time), or when a paid time can't be held.
- We never see or store full card numbers. Stripe handles them.
5. Your content and your clients' information
- You keep ownership of everything you add: your business details, services, photos, logos, policies, custom code, and your clients' information (“Your Content”).
- You give us permission to store, copy and show Your Content only as needed to run the Service. For example, we show your logo and services on your booking page and send emails for you.
- You confirm you have the right to use Your Content, and that you're allowed to collect your clients' information and contact them about their bookings and invoices.
- For your clients' personal information, you're in charge of it and we handle it for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- break any law, or offer illegal services or products;
- send spam, or contact people who didn't book with you or agree to hear from you;
- upload anything that infringes someone else's rights, or that is harmful, hateful or deceptive;
- pretend to be someone else, or collect information you don't need;
- try to break, overload, scan or get around the security of the Service, including through custom CSS or uploads, or access other businesses' data;
- copy, resell or build a competing product from the Service.
7. Suspension and ending your account
- You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or hasn't paid. When we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
- After an account closes, you can ask us for a copy of your data within 30 days. After that we may delete it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. The Service is provided “as is”
We work hard to keep Timetelle reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or right for every need. We rely on other providers, including Cloudflare, Supabase, Stripe and Resend, and emails can be delayed or filtered. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond what these terms say, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. If you're a client booking or paying a business
- Your appointment and any payment are with the business, not with Timetelle. The business sets its services, prices, deposits, cancellation and refund policies.
- For questions about an appointment, a charge or a refund, contact the business. Their details are on their booking page and in your emails.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and the business's own privacy practices.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Timetelle won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or bookings. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
11. Indemnity
If you use Timetelle as a business, you agree to defend and cover Timetelle against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your services, Your Content, your dealings with your clients, or your breaking these terms or the law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. For important changes, we'll email business owners or show a notice at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us at support@appointelle.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts in Wisconsin, and both sides agree to those courts' jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
14. Everything else
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to do so later.
- You can't transfer your account or these terms without our permission. We may transfer them if our business is sold or reorganized.
